In addition to our construction services, Jemstar also offers a specific solution to the issues that have plagued the commercial property flat roof. Standing water is the source of most water intrusion which leads to property damage and mold or mildew issues along with structural damage  if left untreated. We offer a roof system using an high performance waterproof resins making it a marine grade product with excellent energy saving properties, and it is approved by the CRRC. It is the only coating with a manufacturer's warranty that clearly covers ordinary ponding water caused by weather conditions. 
With it's best in class waterproofing ability and highly rated energy efficiency the SureCoat Roof System is the most progressive roofing system available in the industry today. Our many years of experience in the commercial and industrial flat roof business has shown us the shortcomings of many of the roof systems on the market today. On one end of the spectrum, you have the option of tearing off the existing system and installing a new built-up system like the existing roof you have now. This ends up being very costly with all of the building code upgrade requirements. Some of them include bringing the roof framing and plywood up to current code as well as additional structural hardware, engineering costs for design, building department fees, etc. There are also requirements for additional roof or deck insulation to meet Title 24 requirements. These items generally cost more than the actual roof project and take months of design, planning and review. On the other end of the spectrum is the cheap acrylic roof coating liquids that have little to no waterproofing capability. Those products are designed to keep the roof surface cool; NOT weatherproof the roof surface. They are fragile and typically fail in 2-5 years depending on exposure and foot traffic.
