Meet the Visionary Behind Jemstar
Jesse Martinson began his construction career in 1975 working in the family-owned construction business.
He started by learning the drywall trade as well as building new homes throughout the High Desert. In 1982, Jesse founded Jemstar Construction serving the explosive real estate industry in Southern California. He obtained his C-9 contractor’s license in 1983 and added his B-1 license shortly thereafter. As a new business, Jemstar focused on residential drywall projects, including interior paint and finish work. Jemstar had the opportunity to work with a major Savings and Loan, specifically with their REO Department. We completed dozens of projects for this REO Department over the next several years in addition to hundreds of residential projects.
